Shaman’s Net Journey #1 for Fall Season

Intention: Receive gifts, guidance and protections in relationship to the energy of "Harvest" for the Fall Shaman's Net and to the Net members.

This journey started in a place that was a hybrid of a deep rugged river valley with obsidian black rock walls and the eye of a giant Dragon.  It was as though the landscape was the scales and skin of the Dragon.  A Dragon overlaid on top of the landscape.

I had the choice of which "image" (Dragon or river valley) that I wanted to travel into.  I chose to travel into the river valley.

It was a beautiful, heroic landscape -- lots of forests, swift rivers, ancient towering statues, etc.  I traveled for quite a long time into this land until I flew around a bend in the river and landed on the opposite shore and continued into the forest.

As I followed the path I passed more heroic statues (they were at least twice as big as I am) all of whom were on horseback -- fantasy fiction figures of good and evil beings.  It was as though these were actual beings who had been turned into stone mid motion.  I wandered around these huge statues and looked at them from different angles.

I asked Spirit what the reason was that I was among these figures and I was told that this is the first gift for the Shaman's Net -- it is the gift of pause.  It is the gift of being able to step back and pause the action in our lives in order to see what is actually happening and to see what are the possible choices that could be made instead of being swept up in the events of the moment.

As I was looking over the statue scene and contemplating the gift I found myself growing bigger and bigger until I was many times bigger than the statues.  I realized that connected with this gift (gift #2) is the opportunity to grow in stature, to grow in personal power -- to become heroic in size, so to speak -- depending on the choices we make from within our moments of pause.  It is the opportunity to activate our bigger selves.

I thanked Spirit for these gifts and continued on the journey.  After traveling for a long time deeper inland and then back past the heroic figures I arrived inside a big warehouse.  In the lower right corner was a door to the outside.  It was a bright sunny day outside -- I was blinded by how bright it was.  I turned my attention to the multi-story wall around the door and I saw that it was covered with shoebox sized drawers.

I was told that this wall is the third gift.  The gift of choosing which drawer we want to open -- the gift of choosing what it is we want to Harvest from all the things that we have "planted" in our lives.  It is the opportunity to look at the things we have sown and decide if it is something we want to harvest.  If so we "open" a drawer on the wall.

There is also a "time travel" aspect to this gift that is a little hard to conceptualize.  Included in this gift is the ability to swap out drawers -- essentially allowing us to rewrite the Harvest -- a kind of time travel to un-sow/re-sow for a different harvest.  How we see/language the world is the world we live into so you could think of this part of the gift as a kind of perspective/magical "working with" and seeing things through a different lens or in this case a different drawer.

My way of working with this was, as you would expect, to give the Harvest rewrite over to Spirit.  The intention was for Spirit to show me and activate the ideal harvest for myself and for the Shaman's Net members.

Once I had set the intention I watched as different drawers would light up -- the Harvest drawers that opens the possibilities for each member to move their spiritual evolution forward and activate their authentic self enfolded within the kind of life they are seeking.

I was told to return.

Many blessings

David

To summarize the gifts, guidance and protections for the Shaman's Net members:

1.  The first gift is the ability to pause the action in your life -- a breather.  It offers you the opportunity to see what is actually happening and to take the time see what are the possible choices that could be made.

2.  The second gift is the opportunity to grow bigger in our personal power so that we may have a bigger presence in our lives and in the world.

3.  The third gift is the ability and opportunity to choose which Harvest drawer we want to open.  And included in this gift is the ability to swap out drawers -- essentially allowing us to rewrite the Harvest -- a kind of time travel to un-sow/re-sow for a different harvest.  A kind of "working with" and seeing things through a different lens or in this case a different drawer.  One way of working with this part of the gift is to give it over to Spirit to open the perfect Harvest drawer for yourself and "live into" the truth that Spirit has done this for you.

Shaman’s Net Journey #2 for Fall Season

Intention: Receive gifts, guidance and protections in relationship to the energy of "Harvest" for the Fall Shaman's Net and to the Net members.

I started my journey in my Sacred Garden.  I arrived there via an old pathway that I have not traveled in quite a long time.  I was met there by my twin, Donald, who died a year before I was born. He walked me through the garden, showing me what was new and what needed to be done -- it was a way of reconnecting as we had not talked in a while.

I told him the intention of this journey and he was quite excited to help.  He grew wings and flew off.  I quickly mounted one of my Dragons and followed him.  He guided us to a beautiful landscape that looked like an impressionist painting of a fiord.  Sailing up the fiord was a clipper ship.  We followed the ship deeper inland passing verdant cliffs with waterfalls and caves.

Suddenly the scene shifted and we were sailing down some class 5 rapids, then we were in small kayaks racing downstream.  In front of us were several indigenous people in dugouts -- they were having a great time.  Next we rounded a bend and shot off the edge of an incredibly high waterfall.

Instead of crashing in the pool below I found myself standing at the edge of a village where the production of a special brew was taking place.  Around me were several small people chewing on a root and then spitting the mash into various pools. I was invited to chew on a root but I felt that I needed to keep traveling.  By this time Donald was long gone.

As I was leaving the village I noticed that several of the tribe were preparing for some sort of battle.  While I was curious as to what they were up to (and I was again invited to chew on the root) I felt it was time to continue.

I stepped through a doorway/portal and, as the door closed behind me, I was standing on a descending staircase in a medieval castle.  A woman in Renaissance clothing guided me down the stairs and into a courtyard garden.  There I encountered a small in stature young woman standing and crying underneath a big statue of a horse.  It seemed that there was a huge battle raging or about to start.

Spirit directed me to step into the middle of it all and negotiate a peace treaty for the entire area.

Once this was completed I instantly found myself walking along a mountain ridge looking into the valley with the castle far off in the distance.  As I walked along hundreds of elf / fairy types were emerging up out of the ground.  They were all relieved that the battle was over and that they could now go home.

I walked past them and saw that most were delighted to be going home.  However several of them, including the young woman I saw under the horse statue, were in tears.  It turned out that many of these people did not want to return home but rather had friends and family among the human folk.  I encouraged them to follow their heart and return if that was what was right for them. (I made sure that this was possible for them.)

I continued on the journey all the while reminding Spirit that my intention was to receive the Harvest gifts for Shaman's Net members.

I eventually arrived at a "fairy tale" path through a beautiful park-like forest.  A long, well maintained, path with giant trees on either side.  The path seemed to glow with an inner light.

As I walked along this path I realized that this is the first gift -- the "opening of the way", the clearing of opposing forces so that we could travel in peace and beauty to our goals -- to our "Harvest".  It is the releasing of the push-pull, opposing forces that self-sabotage us as we work to manifest our lives.

I continued up the path until I arrived at a door in a tree.  In front of the "tree house" were several fairy tale people.  They were tending the path and the garden out front.  As I approached the door they kept getting in my way, attempting to prevent me from entering the house.

Since it was very obvious to me that the first gift was to clear the way, I marched past them.  It was quite a surprise, to them, that their magics were not stopping me.

I entered the tree house.  Inside was a big melon fruit, cut in half.  Much of the fruit had been eaten -- it seemed that this was the reason that the people tried to keep me from entering -- they were afraid of getting in trouble for eating the melon (and were hoping to get a replacement in place before I walked in and saw that the Harvest celebration food was gone).

In the center of this melon was a giant seed, about the size and shape of a football.  Since, apparently, this seed, and not the fruit, was my "goal", I was able to reassure the nervous fairy folk that all was well.

This big, smooth seed is the second gift.  It is the gift of renewal, of having the beginning of the next cycle in place.  Every Harvest is an ending and a beginning.  Each Harvest must retain some of the seed in order to renew the cycle, in order to begin the next growth season.  It is the gift of planting the our seeds, to over-winter, so that when Spring returns new opportunities and energies are in place for each Shaman's Net member to move confidently into the next cycle.

I thanked Spirit for the seed and asked if there was any more gifts for the Net.  I was directed out the backdoor and down another fairyland path (which was more curved and natural than the first path) until I come to door that was nestled in the roots of a giant tree.  To my surprise it opened into an underground pub that I have visited in other shamanic journeys

It is a warm, cozy pub.  The walls are roots that arc up to form the ceiling.  It is dimly lit with candles on the tables and a fire off in a corner hearth.  I walked in and found a booth to rest in.

I was served a bottle of special brew -- It was the brew from the indigenous people who invited me to chew on the root!  What I learned is that the brew, which is quite potent, is brewed by each individual for themselves and for their clan, if they wish to share.  It is brewed to take advantage of each person's  DNA.

I was told that this is the 3rd gift for the Net -- Spirit brewed elixir that activates, transforms, and energizes each individual's DNA.  Skoal!!

I was told to return.

Many blessings

David

To summarize the gifts, guidance and protections for the Shaman's Net members:

1.  The first gift is the opening of the ways by clearing opposing forces.  The gift of a clear, straight path of peace and beauty that takes us to our Harvest goals.

2.  The second gift is the seed of renewal.  A completion of one cycle -- with celebration and the joy of Harvest and the beginning of the next cycle.  Each Harvest must retain some of the seed to renew the cycle of the next growing season.  Seeds to assist us in our growth and in our ability to move confidently into the next cycle.  Preparing some seeds for planting would be a wonderful way of connecting to this piece of magic.  Hold the intention of filling the seeds with the power to assist in your personal growth.

3.  The third gift is Spirit brewed elixir, customized to each individual via their own DNA, that activates,  energizes, and transforms each individual's DNA.  I encourage you to toast Spirit with the elixir of your choice as a way of activating this gift.
