The Central Flame
This oil lamp is the central grounding node for Spirit in my journey space.
I light it first to represent the presence of the Light.
I blow it out at the end of my thanking and releasing ritual to open the Spirit Sphere.
It was originally an expensive fancy bottle of imported olive oil. I fell in love with the bottle and got it for a birthday present. I was young and unfortunately did not understand the joys of olive oil flavors. Olive oil and fine wines -- to an educated palate there is much to discover and enjoy.
I probably used this fancy oil to cook home fries or something. Ah youth.
Today I would savor it by dipping a piece of Ciabatta or Pane Bello in it.
