Hidden Crystal
At the end of my shamanic training I was given a quartz crystal to use as Spirit guides me.
Right away Spirit instructed me to never look at this crystal.
So, I do not. I keep it in a pouch with a piece of a watch as decoration to remind me that "at no time am I to look at it".
I have had a couple of close calls when I used it for healing. I am in such an altered space during my shamanic work that I have almost looked into it.
I do know what it "looks" like by its feel.
It is a very interesting spiritual discipline to choose, every time I use this crystal, to honor Spirit's request of me. Because of this I have a very different relationship to this healing, magic tool than I do with other healing tools.
