Some divination tools

Divination is the art of seeing into the true nature, the true energy and form of something -- a situation, the future, the past, a personal block.

Each divination system has its own set of tools, such as crystals, rocks, coins, yarrow stalks, or decks of cards.

The decks pictured below are very powerful, dynamic and alive for me. I find most other Tarot style decks to be too static. Their information feels locked inside of stone and I cannot get at it.

Divination is tricky. You have to work very hard to keep your own interpretations and agendas from getting in the way. I always look for corroborating signs, information and omens. Even then I am cautious. After all, some quantum physicists are promoting the multi-universe theory where every possible possibility exists somewhere in some parallel universe. By doing divination you might be seeing the absolute true event for some parallel universe.

Magic might be less about causing something to happen and more about turning the world axis so that you step out of this reality and into a parallel universe where the intention behind your magical workings already exists. This concept opens the possibility that divination might well be a map making system to guide you to that parallel universe.
